This highly intensive course is an extension of the Introductory Implantology and Bone Grafting course. Designed to train implant dentists to an exceptionally high level of implant dentistry, increasing their scope of practice and mastering techniques that produce exceptional success rates and treatment predictability.  Unleash the full potential of your implant dentistry within your practice.


This course is highly suitable for dentists who are already placing at least 50 implants and have realised that bone augmentation and more advanced planning techniques are essential to expand their implant work and scope of practice.

As majority of the learning hours will be focusing on clinical, course participants will be working under close supervision and performing procedures and techniques that include highly predictable Socket Grafting protocols, Bone Grafting, Onlay Block grafting and Sinus Management.

Course Objectives

  •  Perform both lateral and crestal approach sinus bone grafting with delayed and simultaneous implant placement

  •  Understand the anatomy, biology and wound healing of sinus bone grafting

  •       Learn how to use A-PRFTM technique in bone regeneration

  •       Learn bonering augmentation technique

  •  Use various particulate and membrane biomaterials. Block Bone Graft, Khoury Plate Grafting

  •       Advanced Socket Preservations

Dr. Dean Licenblat is currently principal clinician at Sydney Dental Aesthetics & Implants located in Martin Place Sydney. He has completed a master’s degree in oral implantology and bone grafting from Goethe University in Frankfurt and is up-to-date on the latest concepts and techniques. He has a teaching appointment from Goethe and is responsible for tutoring that university’s graduate students in Australia and New Zealand. Dean is the principal investigator for a prospective randomised clinical trial that, for the first time, is studying the hard and soft tissue response to both titanium and zirconia implants in a split-mouth design. Dr. Dean Licenblat has one of a few dental surgeries to be awarded ‘Leading Implant Centres
of the World’ in Australia.
